Produced by John Burk and Randy Waldman and engineered by Al Schmitt and Seth Presant, the album pairs Benson's voice and guitar with vintage Nelson Riddle charts and new Waldman arrangements, backed by a crack rhythm section - Waldman, Tim May, Chuck Berghofer, and Gregg Field - and the 42-piece Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra. Guest turns from Wynton Marsalis, Idina Menzel, Till Brönner, and Judith Hill bring fresh color to Cole classics like "Unforgettable," "Mona Lisa," and "Route 66." AllMusic called it "a sweet and very impressive album, full of warmth and heart" on release, and this edition adds three bonus tracks, “Almost Like Being In Love”, "That Sunday, That Summer" and "Ramblin' Rose," - the fullest, most heartfelt tribute yet to the singer Benson has loved since childhood.
